Text Message Privacy Policy
We use your mobile number only to text you one-time sign-in and password-reset codes. We do not sell it, and we do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the newLife Bio Sign-In Codes text-message program described in the Text Message Terms. For newLife Biosciences' general practices, see the company privacy statement.
2. What we collect
- The mobile number you enter when you choose text-message sign-in codes, or save on your profile for password reset by text.
- Records our messaging provider keeps about each message (such as when it was sent and whether it was delivered) and any STOP or HELP replies.
We do not collect the content of other messages on your phone, your location or your contacts.
3. How we use it
Only to send you one-time sign-in and password-reset codes, to confirm your number, to honor STOP and HELP requests, and to keep the sign-in system secure (for example, investigating a sign-in problem you report).
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in and consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Your number is processed by Amazon Web Services, which sends the messages and stores your sign-in details on our behalf, and by the wireless carriers that deliver them. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Your number stays on your account until you change it, ask for it to be removed, or your account is closed. Turning off text-message codes stops the texts but does not by itself delete the number; ask your system administrator if you want it removed. Message records are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
6. Security
Your number is stored in our sign-in service (Amazon Cognito) and in your profile in the newLife Bio system. Cognito encrypts it at rest, and access is limited to you and the people who administer the system.
7. Your choices
Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. To change or remove your number, update your profile or ask your system administrator. For questions about this policy, contact your manager, the system administrator, or newLife Biosciences through newlifebio.com/contact-us.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
